The Forge Plans Community Presentations In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — For residents looking to learn more about the outdoor recreation park, The Forge, you can attend a community presentation on either April 16 or April 24. The presentation will introduce Lemont's new development and you can register for a 6:30 p.m. session on either date at 340 River St., in Lemont.

Space is limited, so you'll need to register online for the event, which is a first-come, first-serve basis.

According to the state of the village address, the park will have the largest ropes course in Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan or Indiana. There will also be cross-quarry ziplines, mountain biking trails, trail running/hiking, water sports and more. Construction on the project will begin late this summer or early fall.
