Former Lemont Man Charged with Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault
Brandon C. Harris is due in court Saturday. He was arrested in Missouri.
Brandon C. Harris, 30, was taken into custody Friday and charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a child.
Detectives tracked him to Sedalia, MO, on Thursday after conducting a two-week investigation that stemmed from allegations of a sexual assault that occurred in Lemont in 2013, according to Lemont Police.
Detectives interviewed Harris in Missouri, and after an extradition hearing, brought him back to the Lemont Police Department. He was booked and will be taken to the Cook County Courthouse at 26th and California for a hearing on Saturday, Jan. 31, according to the police.

He is being held on $500,000 bail.
