Four Young Artists Named Winners of Lemont Keepataw Day Parade Drawing Contest for 73rd Annual Event
Winners will carry the lead banner on Sunday, Aug. 31 during Lemont's Labor Day weekend tradition celebrating "Neighbors Helping Neighbors."

Lemont’s youngest artists had the chance to shine this summer in the Drawing Contest for the 73rd Annual Lemont Keepataw Day Parade and Fun Fest, happening Sunday, August 31, 2025, during Labor Day weekend in downtown Lemont.
A special partnership between the Lemont Public Library and Lemont Keepataw Day invited children ages 8 to 14 to create art inspired by this year’s theme: “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.”
The theme celebrates what makes Lemont strong: a community that supports one another. From lending a hand to sharing a meal, it’s about the everyday acts of kindness that bring neighbors together.
