Free Nature Walk and Beehive Presentation - Lemont Township

Join us at the Lemont Township Heritage Woodland Sanctuary on Saturday, June 21st at 9 a.m.

Start the morning out just right with a nature walk guided by our prairie restoration expert Evan Barker from Pizzo & Associates. Then, finish off your walk with a visit to our Beehive area where you can hear a short presentation on bee keeping from our local Lemont expert, Mark Pawlak. Relaxing and educational. A nice balance to connect with nature. After the educational portion of the day, we intend to do a little gardening as well! Bring your artistic talents, roll up the sleeves and help us create a unique welcoming pollinator garden for our community.
