Freedom Days Presented By Lemont Park District

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Park District will present Freedom Days the week of June 25, with various events all week long. The celebration will kick off on Sunday, June 25 at 12 p.m., according to the village newsletter.

Lemont Park District will host "The All-American Swim Party," at Centennial Outdoor Pool on June 25. This is a free, "pack the pool" event. The celebrations will continue at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 26, with Lemont Park District's Stars & Stripes Tribute to veterans. According to the newsletter, festivities will take place at Legion Park.

On Tuesday, June 27, the park district will continue Freedom Days with a movie night at Connemara Park at 7 p.m. The park district will also host the Sky High Freedom Fly at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 29 at Lemont Park District's Centennial Park.

Freedom Days will finish with the July 3 Independence Day Extravaganza at Centennial Park. The extravaganza will feature a beer garden, basketball clinic, food court and a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. The extravaganza is hosted by the park district, Lemont Township and the village of Lemont.
