Fright Night in the Old Stone Church

For a ghoulishly good time, gather at the Lemont Historical Society museum in the Old StoneChurch at 306 Lemont Street, on Tuesday, October 27 for “Fright Night in the Old StoneChurch.” Doors open 6:30 p.m., program begins at 7:00 p.m. Society members and story tellers will be relating Lemont’s eerie encounters with the supernatural and introducing paranormal figures from the town’s historic past, including the legendary “Resurrection Mary.”

The museum has been specially decorated with a Halloween twist, centered around the authentic 1890’s coffin from the Society’s collection. Local lore has it that the coffin’s original occupant still haunts the museum.
