Front Street Cantina Lemont Gets New Name, Fresh Menu

LEMONT, IL — Lemont's Front Street Cantina will be getting a new name after a franchise agreement with Front Street Cantina ended at the end of 2017, the business posted on Facebook. The business will be under the same owners, but a new name, "Next Mex."

Next Mex will still be located at 319 Front St., in Lemont, and will also feature a new food and drink menu. The business posted on Facebook and said the drink menu will feature cocktails and some classics guests have enjoyed.

"The food menu will feature both modern and inviting selections as well as some traditional tex-mex dishes like you’re used to from us," the business posted on their Facebook page.

The business added they will be closed starting on Jan. 1 to give the place some updating and to train staff. Next Mex should open in 2 to 3 weeks, according to the post.
