Gas Leak Closes Rt. 83
Palos Park's police chief says a section of the highway could be closed all day while repairs are made.
Palos Park police are dealing with a leak in a gas line discovered early Monday morning on Route 83.
Traffic on Route 83 is closed from Route 7 to Route 45 while the line is repaired. The leak was discovered at about 3:20 a.m.
The closure could last all day, said police Chief Joe Miller.
