Giving Back To Lemont Concert Returns For Seventh Year
Attendees can bring non-perishable food or monetary donations, which will be collected and distributed between the two food pantries.
LEMONT, IL — If you'd like a fun, easy opportunity to give back to your community, you can attend the seventh annual Giving Back to Lemont concert. The concert will be held Saturday, Aug. 3, from 4 to 9 p.m. at 319 Front St. The free five-hour concert will take place on the grass lot west of Next Mex.
There will also be a kids play area, games, a bean bag tournament, raffles and prizes at the event. The line-up for the concert is:
- 5 p.m., Geno Olson
- 5:45 p.m., Julie Bittner
- 6:30 p.m., Seth Mercer/Mark Oikle
- 7:15 p.m., "Timing's Everything"
- 8:15 p.m., "Fun Razor"
Attendees can bring non-perishable food or monetary donations, which will be collected and distributed between Lemont's two food pantries, event organizers said.

According to organizers, the event has raised nearly $12,000 and has donated truckloads of food in the past six years.
