On-The-Go Truck Parade Planned In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Park District is turning its popular touch-a-truck event into an on-the-go truck parade for the community. Due to the coronavirus, the Lemont Park District is closed through at least April 30, but the parade will go on.

The park district said there will be concrete trucks, fire engines, police cars, dump trucks and more making their way through town. If you'd like to watch the parade, you can grab lawn chairs and sit in your driveway or yard while practicing social distancing.

The parade will go through several neighborhoods in Lemont starting at 10 a.m. April 25.
