Golden Spa Worker, 62, Charged With Prostitution: Lemont Cops

LEMONT, IL — A 62-year-old woman has been charged with prostitution after a police investigation at a spa in Lemont. Byung Kim, of Duluth, Georgia, was an employee at Golden Spa in Lemont, police said. Charges were filed Aug. 30.

Lemont Police said they began their investigation through the village's nuisance abatement process in August, after they were made aware of alleged illegal activity, saw social media posts about the business and also received calls from concerned residents.

The spa's business license has also been suspended, and the business has a sticker on the door stating "not approved for occupancy." Police said the business made modifications to the building without a permit and added rooms.

According to the village, the spa received its business license in December 2017.

Police said several agencies helped with the investigation.
