Golf Fundraiser for Lemont HS Cheerleaders Set for June 26

Golfers will tee off at 10 a.m. at Village Greens Golf Course.

Lemont High School’s cheerleading program will host a golf outing and accompanying lunch with silent auction and raffles on Friday, June 26, at Village Greens Golf Course in Woodridge. The event will serve as a fundraiser for head coach Dave Erlenbaugh’s program.

The event will tee off at 10 a.m. on June 26 with a shotgun start. Contests will be held throughout the day.

A $125 ticket will provide an individual golfer with use of the driving range for one hour prior to the event, a round of golf, a buffet lunch, and a future complimentary round of golf. Foursomes are $500, and ‘lunch only’ tickets are $25. Supporters of the Lemont High School cheerleading program do not have to participate in the golf outing in order to attend the lunch and take part in the silent auction and raffles.

Village Greens Golf Course is located at 1575 W. 75th Street in Woodridge.

Lemont’s cheerleading program has set the standard at the IHSA Cheerleading State Finals over the last 10 years. The Indians earned state trophies nine straight seasons from 2006-2014, and won IHSA Medium Division State Championships in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2014.
