Members of the community are invited to tonight’s Arts and Culture Commission meeting at 7 p.m. in the Lemont Center for the Arts (between Aldi and Jeffrey LaMorte salon on State Street).
Inquire about becoming a commissioner, offer an opinion about arts in Lemont or just watch commissioners figure out future events.
Planning is in full swing for a gala benefit, ”Gifted“ on Oct. 17 to mark the fifth anniversary of the center. Fine art, entertainment, music, food, drink, raffles are in the works. The soiree will be held in the art museum of the Lithuanian World Center in Lemont.
