FRIDAY, OCT. 3

DUI, No Insurance

Silvìja Basijokaíte, 30, of the 400 block of Fifth Street, in Lemont, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance and disobeyed stop sign following a traffic stop at Illinois and Stephen Streets. She was issued a November 17 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

THURSDAY, OCT. 2

Driving on Revoked License

Luis M. Buendía, 31, of the 100 block of W. 16th Street, in Melrose Park, was arrested for driving while license revoked and failure to signal when required following a traffic stop at New Avenue and 127th Street. He was issued an October 17 court date at the Will County Court House.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 1

Possession of Cannabis

Benjamin M. Gaughat, 26, of the 700 block of East Street, in Lemont, was given a local citation for possession of cannabis following a traffic stop at 108 Stephen Street. He will appear in the local court.

Registration Suspended

Joseph W. Brender, 36, of the 900 block of Bluebell Circle, in Joliet, was arrested for operation of vehicle with registration suspended for no insurance following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and State Street. He was issued a November 19 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

Driving on Suspended License

Kelcey A. Williams, 20, of the 2200 block of Hecker Avenue, in Rockford, was arrested for driving while license suspended, no proof of valid insurance and operation of motor vehicle with expired registration following a traffic stop at Lockport Street and New Avenue. He was issued a November 17 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 30

Hit and Run

Between 7:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. an unknown offender struck a vehicle and fled the scene in the 600 block of Sobieski Street. Anyone with information please contact the Lemont Police Department.

MONDAY, SEPT. 29

Catalytic Converter Theft

Between 9 p.m. Sept. 29 and 11 a.m. Sept. 30, an unknown offender removed without permission a catalytic converter from a vehicle in the 100 block of State Street. Anyone with information please contact the Lemont Police Department.

Between 5 p.m. Sept. 29 and 5 a.m. Sept. 30 an unknown offender removed without permission a datalytic converter from a vehicle in the 0-50 block of Custer Street. Anyone with information please contact the Lemont Police Department.

Driving on Suspended License

John M. Wojciechowski, 53, of the 100 block of S. Old Creek Road, in Palos Park, was arrested for driving while license suspended, no valid insurance and violation of classification following a traffic stop at Main Street and Walker Road. Wojciechowski was issued a November 17 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 28

Possession of Controlled Substance, DUI

Colleen B. Garvey, 33, of the 1200 block of Eagle Crest Drive, in Lemont, was arrested for two counts of possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, driving while license suspended and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident following an incident in the 1300 block of Acorn Street. She was issued an October 25th court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

Driving on Suspended License

Chanielle Y. Harris, 23, of the 600 block of E. Park Street, in Carbondale, was arrested for driving while license suspended and obstructed windshield following a traffic stop at Main Street and Archer Avenue. She was issued a November 17 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

Burglary to Motor Vehicles
