Holiday Lights Festival Planned In Romeoville

The festival will kick off Dec. 2 and Dec. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. at 1050 W. Romeo Road.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — As Halloween quickly approaches, many are already looking onward to the start of the holiday season. In Romeoville, residents can celebrate the start of holiday fun with the Village's Holiday Lights Festival on Dec. 2-3.

The grounds around Village Hall and the police department will be filled with lights from Dec. 2 through Jan. 1, according to the Village.

The festival will kick off Dec. 2 and Dec. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. at 1050 W. Romeo Road. Festivities will include photos with Santa (requires registration), food, and visits from holiday characters.

The tree will be lit at 5 p.m. on Dec. 2.

The Village will also offer to send letters to Santa; guests can drop letters in Santa's mailbox at Village Hall by Dec. 12.
