Hope and Friendship Foundation sets dates for Summer Outreaches 2026

For the past 20 years Hope and Friendship Foundation has spent the summers creating opportunities to put hands, feet and hearts to work with youth outreaches, summer music gatherings raising funds for it's cancer outreach and the Lemont Food Pantries, and Mission Stay Saturdays. Summer Outreaches Year 21 has already begun!

Volunteers and donations are always welcome (and needed) to help make these outreaches possible!!!

The Hope and Friendship Summer Outreaches began with awarding eight scholarships to graduating seniors and will continue this Thursday June 4th with the Lemont Park District Sunset Soiree, then roll right into the 14th annual Bicycle Recycle on Sat. June 6th!

There is a sign up link.... but no sign up is required! You are always welcome! No sign ups for Mission Stay Saturdays either, many hands and feet are needed to complete work in many yards of seniors and those battling illness here in our corner of the world.

****Hope & Friendship Summer Outreaches 2026 Thu Jun 4, 2026 – Sat Aug 22, 2026

Hope and Friendship has focused on creating fun activities for our young friends during the summer. These events are created to be opportunities to enjoy the companionship of others, have fun, meet new friends, hang out with "old" friends, eat (of course we will always have food!!!), and create fantastic summer break memories! ALL youth are invited. Some will come because they want to get out of the house. Some will come because they need to earn community service hours. Some will come because they want our amazing hot dogs or pizza! Some will come because they love kick ball, pool parties, 4-square, or just hanging out with cool people that love our young friends! Older youth are great mentors to our younger youth. Adults that love to lead games, crafts, and conversation with kids are needed. Donations of youth themed items (games, crafts, personal care products, journals, gift cards, etc.) are welcome!
