Hope and Friendship Mission Stay Saturdays begin on Sat April 21
Join Hope and Friendship friends who will be tidying up a yards for seniors in our community who need the offer of hands, feet and hearts.
Hope and Friendship Foundation is seeking volunteers who can lend their hands, feet and hearts to a couple yards for a spring clean up for a couple of our seniors. All will be meeting at the Lemont Police Dept at 8am on April 21, then rolling out by 8:15 caravaning to the yards. Volunteers, or as Hope and Friendship calls you: Friends, will clean up and beautify conquering work that would otherwise not be able to be completed. Friends will rake, trim bushes, clean gutters, tidy the yards and leave them looking like an army of walking angels stopped by! Bring your yard tools of choice to use, and of course your smile!
All ages are welcome to join in on the local mission work. Mission Stay Saturdays continue through the summer months and into the fall assisting persons who are struggling physically to complete a once a summer tidying, trim, and small household repairs.
