Hope and Friendship Offering Scholarships For LHS Seniors

Hope and Friendship Foundation is once again is seeking to award
graduating Lemont students with a Scholarship for further education or
trade school opportunities.
These scholarships will be awarded at the Lemont High School Senior Night on Monday May 20th for those graduating Lemont High School.
The deadline for submitting a scholarship application is MIDNIGHT FRIDAY APRIL 5TH.

Please share this opportunity and entry with all who would be interested especially
those who are struggling to finance the cost of further education or vocational training.

The scholarship has a few requirements, one of which is to have students submit 3 ideas on what they can help us offer to our corner of the world to better it for our young people based on the following:

In a time that young people feel more pressures, stress, and challenges, what are THREE ideas- action steps, activities/outreaches, or support, that we as a community can do to instill/teach the self-esteem, confidence, and courage within you, and your peers, to help you confidently and successfully open your wings and soar, while always remembering the importance of the reminder of the above quote from A.A. Milne. (create 3 statements on your ideas/suggestions- approx. 100 words each.)
