Hot And Sunny, Temps In The 90s For Illinois' 4th Of July Weekend
There's a slight chance of storms Friday, but then it will be dry and hot all weekend.
ILLINOIS — Fourth of July weekend will be sunny and hot, with temperatures in the 90s on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The high for Friday will be 92 degrees, Saturday will be 91, and Sunday again has a high of 92.
The National Weather Service has also issued an air quality alert until midnight Saturday.
Active children and adults, especially those with pulmonary or respiratory disease like asthma should limit prolonged outdoor activity, according to the weather service.

The entire weekend looks to be hot and sunny, although there is a slight chance for a few thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening. The weather service said the best chance is mainly north ofI-80 and west of I-355, but severe weather is unlikely.
