House Fire In Lemont, No Injuries Reported

LEMONT, IL — A house fire on Evergreen Place in the Timberline subdivision drew out several area departments to put out a fire that occurred Sunday evening at approximately 8 p.m.

The fire was out by 10 p.m., and according to Lemont Police, the owner was not home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.

The Lemont Fire Protection District said the cause is still undetermined. There is damage in the area where firefighters believe the fire started, and it is hard to get in the location currently.

Other departments were called in to assist including: Northwest Homer, Lockport, Romeoville, Orland Park, Frankfort, Tri-State and Darien-Woodridge.
