Irish Pub Opening In Lemont This Summer

LEMONT, IL — A new Irish pub will be opening in Lemont this summer. During the State of the Village Address earlier this month, Mayor John Egofske spoke of the new business, Hughie's Irish Pub, which will be located at 118 Stephen St.

Manus McClafferty is the owner of the business, which will serve Irish food and spirits.

According to the mayor, the property was built 150 years ago and has also served as a drug store, jewelry store and it was also an early site for the Lemont Post Office.
