Honor Lemont Cancer Warriors at Sunset Soiree
Hope and Friendship Team Compassion hopes to rally support for those in our Lemont community from those who know the battle.
The Lemont Park District's Thursday evening Sunset Soiree is worth venturing to downtown Lemont.
Bring your chairs, coolers, friends, neighbors and a few 50/50 raffle bucks to Stephen Street starting at 7 p.m.Festivities will continue until 10 p.m.
Enjoy tunes from hometown band, Split Decision, and try your hand at a raffle coordinated by local fundraising crew, Hope and Friendship Team Compassion. Attendees can show their support by buying T-shirts or simply relishing the relaxing company of friends.

Hope and Friendship Team Compassion has been working fervently to channel any and all assistance to those in the community who have been diagnosed with cancer. The team rallies meals, lawn care, "Mission Stay Saturdays," and connects those volunteering to help with those who need it.
"Until Cancer is a word of the past, we hope to be compassion in the present," team members contest.
