Kids Coding Event Planned In Lemont

Kids who like to code can attend an Hour of Code event at the Lithuanian World Center in Lemont.

LEMONT, IL — Kids who like to code can attend an Hour of Code event at the Lithuanian World Center in Lemont. According to a release, the creative technology academy bit&Byte is coming to Lemont on Nov. 3. Software design and development company Devbridge Group will also be sponsoring and participating at the event.

Kids ages 7 to 14 will have two chances to participate in the event, according to a release. The first round of coding will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and the second round will take place from 3 to 4 p.m.

The event is free, but you need to register. Tasks will be prepared in English and Lithuanian, and laptops will be provided.
