Kirvelaitis Due Back In Court On DUI Charge
Kirvelaitis was arrested at Speedway, 10250 Lemont Road, for DUI-alcohol on Nov. 24.
LEMONT, IL — Lemont resident and current library board president Vytenis Kirvelaitis will appear in court later this month after a DUI arrest in November. According to the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office, Kirvelaitis will appear at the DuPage County Judicial Center on Feb. 25.
Kirvelaitis was arrested at 5:02 a.m. Nov. 24 in Darien, police reports show. He was arrested at Speedway, 10250 Lemont Road, for DUI-alcohol, and was processed and released with a first court date of Dec. 26.
Kirvelaitis did not respond to an email from Patch seeking comment on the case.

Kirvelaitis has served on the library board since 1999, and has filed for re-election in the April 2 election.
