The Lemont Junior Woman's Club & Lemont Township will co-sponsor the third annual Scarecrow Trail Contest. This year's theme is Heroes and Villains. Visit www.lemontjuniorwomansclub.org for more details.
On October 21st a Family Scarecrow Festival will take place at the community center near scarecrow trail.
This is a free family event full of Fall activities and opportunities to learn more about the woodland sanctuary. Walk the scarecrow trail and vote for your favorite, set off on an adventure and finally rest by the bon fire with cider and stories. Kids crafts, a monarch butterfly corner, games and natural trail scavenger hunt too!
