On Tuesday, February 17th the Athletic Director at Trinity Lutheran in Burr Ridge got the phone call the team had been working towards all season - the bid to the State Basketball tournament.
The last time the Trinity Tigers were invited to the state tournament was in 2002, and this is only the third time in the school’s history they will be playing for a state title.
An impressive 22-2 record as well as 3 tournament titles this season earned them the bid.
