Lemont Approves $683K Road Resurfacing Project
The project will include resurfacing for Harasek, Tomaszewski, Kruk and Schultz streets.
LEMONT, IL — At its Monday meeting, the Lemont Village Board approved awarding a $683,729.68 contract for its 2022 Motor Fuel Tax resurfacing program to PT Ferro Construction Co.
The project will include the surface removal and resurfacing, patches, curb and gutter removal and replacement for Harasek Street, Tomaszewski Street, Kruk Street and Schultz Street (from Kruk to First Street), according to board documents. A total of .97 miles will be resurfaced with the project.
The project uses Motor Fuel Tax funds, and came in $106,979.42 under estimate.

Director of Public Works Ralph Pukula said the resurfacing will begin in the third or fourth week of September.
