Lemont Approves Kiddie Academy Childcare Facility
The childcare facility will allow babies as young as six weeks up to children 12 years of age.
LEMONT, IL — At its Nov. 18 meeting, the Lemont village board approved a special use permit for a Kiddie Academy at 15907 W. 127th St. According to board documents, the facility will be an 11,030-square-foot building with a fenced outdoor playground in the rear of the facility, which is closest to the residential area and farthest from the parking lot.
The current property is a vacant lot, just west of the post office.
Board documents state the childcare facility will allow babies as young as six weeks up to children 12 years of age. The business will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The planning and zoning commission also approved the facility with a vote of 7-0.
Kiddie Academy has hundreds of locations across the country including several in Chicagoland. Nearby Kiddie Academy locations include Bolingbrook, Darien and Plainfield.
