Lemont Businesses Broken Into, Cash Stolen: Police
The burglaries happened at 2:50 a.m. Monday and were reported at Subway, Lemont Liquor and Jimmy John's.
LEMONT, IL — Three Lemont businesses were broken into early Monday, Lemont Police told Patch.
The burglaries happened at 2:50 a.m. Monday, and were reported at Subway, 1112 State St.; Lemont Liquor, 1128 State St.; and Jimmy John's, 1243 State St.
The window of El Burrito Jr., 1110 State St., was also broken, but entry was not made, police said.

Cash was taken from Subway and Lemont Liquor, and nothing was taken from Jimmy John's, according to police.
The suspects are described as three black males and appear to be between 17 and 20 years old, police said. One man was between 5'6" and 5'9", 140 to 160 pounds, wearing a blue shirt, green pants and a surgical mask; the second man was 5'7" to 5'10", 140-160 pounds, wearing a blue shirt, gray pants and a surgical mask; the third man was between 5'8" and 5'10", 170 and 185 pounds, wearing a black and white shirt and black pants with a surgical mask.

The suspects left in a 2022 white Kia, which was reported stolen from Matteson, police said.
Similar incidents were also reported in Woodridge, Plainfield and Romeoville on the same night, police said.
