The 4 time Illinois state champion Lemont Cheer team is hosting a golf outing/luncheon on Friday, June 26th, 2015 at the Village Greens Golf Course. The golf course is located at 1575 W. 75th Street in Woodridge. There will be a 10:00am shotgun start. The cost per golfer is $125.00 which includes a round of golf, luncheon, and free use of the driving range one hour prior to start time. On course contests will be held, as well as raffle prizes during the luncheon. Those wishing to support the program and attend only the luncheon can do so for $25.00.
The cheer program at Lemont is one of the most successful high school programs in the state. It is the only team that has been in the Top 4 for the past 10 years. It is a self funded sport and relies on the generous support and donations of the community and local businesses.
