Lemont CITGO Fire Department Conducts Training Exercise

LEMONT, IL — The Citgo Fire Department at the Lemont refinery will be conducting a full scale Tank Fire Response Exercise from Aug. 14 to Aug. 16. According to the village, the training will take place at Tank 304 in Citgo's east tank farm along 127th Street.

This is a training exercise only with multiple fire apparatus flowing water and foam during the event, the village said. Use caution while driving in the area and use alternate routes if necessary.
