Lemont Cops Chip in to Feed the Hungry on Christmas

Lemont police pitched in to help with Hope and Friendship's Christmas Dinner and Care Box Deliveries.

Lemont police did their part this holiday season, to support those in need.

The Lemont Police Department Benevolent Association contributed $250 toward the costs of the Hope and Friendship Christmas Dinner and Care Box Deliveries.

"With these funds we will be able to cover the costs of cooking oil for the 15 deep fryers that a group of volunteers will be using to cook 51 of the turkeys (20 pound turkeys!)" wrote Terri O'Neill-Borders. Pictured from left to right:  Sgt Thad Mezyk, Lemont Police Chaplain and Hope and Friendship Foundation Founder Terri O'Neill-Borders and Sgt.
