Lemont Emergency Management Agency Seeking Volunteers

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Emergency Management Agency is seeking volunteers to join the organization. According to the Village, LEMA is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the village by mitigating, preparing for, responding to and recovering from disasters.

LEMA handles situations like severe weather, traffic control, and search and rescue. Training is provided at no cost, the Village said.
