Lemont Family Aims to Start Up Organic Food Truck
The Barbuto family has a special kind of food truck in mind. Can you help?

A Lemont family has set out to start up a food truck—but unlike any you’ve seen before.
Vince and Jennifer Barbuto, along with their son Jesse, have set up a Kickstarter campaign to fund “Barbuto’s Organic & Non-GMO Chicago-Style Food Truck,” which will feature “healthful alternatives to conventional run-of-the-mill foods.” The couple decided to turn to the online option to raise funds to purchase a truck, equipment, supplies and advertising materials.
It will take a village to bring their dream to fruition.

“In an economy like this, it’s hard to go to the bank,” Vince said. “A lot of the food trucks that succeed, are in states where they’re promoting them. We need your support to make Barbuto’s a reality.”
A self-proclaimed “foodie,” Vince boasts of a Barbuto’s HandBurger, Barbuto’s Cubano, Barbuto’s Barbeque Shredded Chicken Sammich, Barbuto’s Margherita Sammich, Barbuto’s Panini Sammich, Grilled Cheese Sammich and freshly made hand-cut butter-garlic fries (a local favorite here in Chicago)—all made with non-gmo and USDA certified 100 percent organic meat and ingredients.
