Lemont Farmers Market Debuts, Continues Every Tuesday Through October

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Farmers Market made its debut with a soft launch on Tuesday, and will continue every Tuesday evening through Oct. 17.

Aster Gardens, a plant shop in downtown Lemont, has helped launch the new market, which is held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays at Village Green (next to the Lemont National Bank building).

The soft launch on Tuesday included a few vendors selling flowers, mushrooms and veggies, a story time from the Lemont Public Library and live music from Deplorable Behavior.

Aster Gardens told Patch that the farmers market will get bigger every week, and only features locally grown items.
