Lemont Farmers Market Opens Tuesday

It might not feel much like summer, but the local farmers market season is now in full swing, with the opening of Lemont’s market set for Tuesday, June 2.

The market will run every Tuesday through Oct. 27, from ,8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Talcott Square location (Stephen St. & Talcott) behind LaDolce Vita and StoneHouse Pub.

The Lemont Library will be there the first Tuesday of every month with story time and crafts for kids, among other services. Master Gardeners will attend the first and third Tuesday of every month to assist folks with every kind of gardening issue. Stop by and check out fresh veggies, fruit, baked goods, beef, plants, flowers, shrubs, and more.
