
LEMONT, IL — While several suburbs have received up to 10 inches of snow, no suburb received more snowfall than Lemont. As of 2:30 p.m., the National Weather Service reported Lemont had 12 inches of snow.
The winter storm warning remains in effect until 6 p.m. Friday, so Lemont may yet get a few more inches before the storm is over.
According to the NWS' snowfall reports, Lemont topped the list, while Plainfield came in second with 10.3 inches. Other suburbs that received major snowfall include:

- Palos Heights, 9 inches
- Joliet, 8.2 inches
Snow is set to continue into Friday evening, and more rounds of snow are on the way for Saturday and Sunday.
