Lemont High School Approves 2019-20 Calendar

LEMONT, IL — At its Jan. 22 meeting, the Lemont High School District 210 Board of Education approved the Lemont High School calendar for the 2019-20 school year. The school said the first day of attendance for freshmen and transfer students will be Tuesday, Aug. 13. The first full day of attendance for all students will be Wednesday, Aug. 14. Registration Processing Day will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

Winter break begins at the end of the day on Friday, Dec. 20, and classes resume following the break on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020. Spring Break will begin at the end of the day on Friday, March 27, 2020, with classes resuming on Monday, April 6, 2020. The last day of school tentatively is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2020. Graduation is set for Friday, May 22, 2020, according to LHS.

There will be no senior attendance on testing days on Wednesday, Oct. 16, and Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

• Nov. 27, Early Release – 1 p.m. (classes begin at 8 a.m.)

If needed, “inclement weather days” tentatively are scheduled for May 22 and May 26-29, the school said. To allow for meaningful classroom instruction, days currently designated as holidays or “No School” days may be used instead if deemed necessary by school administrators.
