Lemont High School Closed Monday
A pipe burst and caused flooding in the building, forcing the cancellation of all classes and extracurricular activities for Feb. 9.

Lemont High School will be closed on Monday, February 9. On Sunday, building officials discovered that a pipe had broken and caused flooding in the building. There will be no academic or extra-curricular activities taking place on campus on Monday, February 9.
Transportation will be provided for students who attend out-of-district Special Education programs. Those programs will be held as scheduled.
Coaches of some sports and sponsors of some activities are seeking off-campus locations to hold practice. Students may be contacted by their coaches or sponsors with alternative practice locations.

All Buildings & Grounds staff should report at their regularly scheduled times.
Classes are expected to resume on Tuesday, February 10. It will be a Gold Day, as reflected on the calendar.
