Lemont High School Features 'The Addams Family' For Spring Musical

LEMONT, IL — For its spring musical, the Lemont High School performing arts center will feature Theatrical Rights Worldwide’s "The Addams Family – A New Musical" for nightly performances from May 4 to May 6. In conjunction with the musical, the school’s Art Department will host a spring art show in Gallery 306, according to a release from the District.
With the acting book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, all performances of Theatrical Rights Worldwide’s "The Addams Family – A New Musical" will begin at 7 p.m., and tickets are on sale now for each performance.
All tickets are $15, and all seats in the Performing Arts Center - including the balcony and main level - are reserved seats. You can buy tickets online or pending availability, tickets can be purchased at the door via credit card, cash or check.

Theatrical Rights Worldwide’s The Addams Family – A New Musical will be produced by Dave Nommensen, directed by Leslie Kane, and choreographed by Jeni Donahue, the District said. Matt Doherty will head orchestral direction, while Jeremy Landig leads vocal direction and will provide accompaniment.
Brett Baleskie will head the set design and scenic painting, and Matt Davis will serve as the set construction and backstage technical supervisor. Designers for the production will include Tom Kieffer (costumes), Bob Kuper (make-up) and Max Thalhammer (sound).

Gallery 306 debuted in fall 2017 and typically hosts multiple shows each year, the district said. The spring art show will be open from 5:45-6:45 p.m. nightly from May 4-6, spotlighting a variety of work from Lemont High School students.
