Lemont High School Honors January 2026 Students Of The Month

The honorees were senior Katelynn Carnahan, junior Alexis Frey, sophomore Erika Salaviejus and freshman Eleanor Adams.

LEMONT, IL — Four Lemont High School students were honored with January Student of the Month accolades at the district’s Board of Education meeting on Jan. 20, LHS shared in a news release. The honorees were senior Katelynn Carnahan (Special Education), junior Alexis Frey (Student Services), sophomore Erika Salaviejus (Driver Education) and freshman Eleanor Adams (Health).

Each month, Lemont High School honors a student from each grade level for hard work and dedication to the school and the community, according to a news release. Selections rotate among the school’s various departments from month to month. Only 32 students earn the accolades each school year, with four individuals honored each month from October through May. Students may be selected for this honor only once in their careers at Lemont High School.

Brad Grcevic, of Edward Jones, Inc. (Lemont), contributes a donation each month to a charity selected by the award winners. This month’s winners selected Hope & Friendship Foundation to receive the donation, the school said.
