Lemont High School Hosts Eighth Grade Open House
LHS will host its annual eighth grade open house, so that future students and their parents can visit LHS and meet teachers and counselors.
LEMONT, IL — LHS will host its annual eighth grade open house, so that future students and their parents can visit LHS, and meet teachers, counselors and administrators. The school has scheduled the event for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29. Additionally, the school has scheduled its freshman placement exam, which is mandatory for incoming freshmen, for Saturday, Dec. 2.
According to the school, any incoming student who lives within the school’s attendance boundaries, or who will live within those boundaries during the 2018-19 school year, is encouraged to take advantage of the “sneak peek” that the open house provides. Lemont High School’s attendance boundaries include Lemont and portions of Darien, Downers Grove and Woodridge.
The 8th Grade Open House will begin in the school’s Performing Arts Center, which is located on the southwest side of campus. Lemont High School is located at 800 Porter Street in Lemont.
