Lemont High School Hosts Post-Secondary Planning Event

The evening will include a FAFSA completion help session and presentations on both college selection and admissions and financial aid.

LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School’s Student Services Department will host Post-Secondary Planning Night from 6:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12. The evening will include a FAFSA completion help session, presentations on both college selection and admissions and financial aid, and a variety of breakout sessions. Attendees can participate in whatever sessions their schedules will allow.

The school said Lewis University Director of Admissions Ryan Cockerill will provide information on college selection and admissions at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Northern Illinois University Associate Director of Financial Aid Samantha McCarron will follow at 7 p.m. with an overview of financial aid. Topics for breakout sessions at 7:30 p.m. will include fine arts admissions, advanced financial aid information, NCAA eligibility, and the College of DuPage’s 3+1 innovative Bachelor’s Degree program.
