Lemont High School Releases 2022-23 School Calendar

LEMONT, IL — At its Jan. 18 meeting, the Lemont High School District 210 Board of Education approved the Lemont High School calendar for the 2022-23 school year.

The first day of attendance for freshmen and transfer students will be Aug. 15. The first full day of attendance for all students will be Aug. 16, the district said.

Winter break begins at the end of the day on Dec. 22, and classes resume following the break on Jan. 10. Spring break will begin at the end of the day on March 30, with classes resuming on April 10. The last day of senior attendance will be May 18, and graduation has been moved up one week to May 19, according to the district. The tentative last day of school for non-seniors is May 24.

Sept. 2 - Early Release – 1 p.m.
Sept. 5 - No School – Labor Day
Sept. 30 - School Improvement Day (classes release at 11:15 a.m.)
Oct. 10 - No School
Oct. 12 - Student Testing (no senior attendance; classes release at TBA)
Oct. 21 - School Improvement Day (classes release at 11:15 a.m.)
Nov. 8 - eLearning Day (due to Election Day)
Nov. 11 - No School – Veterans Day
Nov. 23 - Early Release – 1 p.m. (classes begin at 8 a.m.)
Nov. 24-25 - No School – Thanksgiving Holiday
Dec. 21 - Early Release – 1 p.m. (classes begin at 8 a.m.)
Dec. 22 - Early Release – 1 p.m./End of First Semester/Winter Break begins at end of day
Jan. 9 - No School – Teacher Institute Day
Jan. 10- Classes resume following Winter Break
Jan. 16 - No School – Martin Luther King’s Birthday (observed)
Feb. 20 - No School – Presidents Day
Feb. 23 - School Improvement Day (classes release at 11:15 a.m.)

In the instance of inclement weather or other unforeseen events that would prevent school from being held on campus, class instruction will continue through the use of eLearning Days. For the instances when it is not possible to implement an eLearning Day, make-up days are: May 27, May 31, June 1-3.
