Lemont High School Releases 2026-27 Calendar

The first day of school for freshmen will be Aug. 11, and Aug. 12 for all students.

LEMONT, IL — At its Jan. 20 meeting, the Lemont High School District 210 Board of Education approved the Lemont High School calendar for the 2026-27 school year.

The first day of attendance for freshmen and transfer students will be Aug. 11, the school shared. The first day of attendance for all students will be Aug. 12.

Here is a look at some dates to know for the 2026-27 school year:

  • Aug. 7 - Teacher Institute Day
  • Aug. 10 - Teacher Institute Day
  • Aug. 11 - First Day of School – Freshmen/transfer students only
  • Aug. 12 - First Day of School – All students (classes release at 1 p.m.)
  • Sept. 4 - Early Release – 1 p.m.
  • Sept. 7 - No School – Labor Day
  • Sept. 29 - School Improvement Day (classes release at 11:15 a.m.)
  • Oct. 7 - Tentative - Student Testing (no senior attendance; classes release at TBA)
  • Nov. 3 - No School – Election Day
  • Nov. 17 - School Improvement Day (classes release at 11:15 a.m.)
  • Nov. 23-27 - No School – Thanksgiving Break
  • Nov. 30 - Classes resume following Thanksgiving Break
  • Dec. 17 - Early Release – 1 p.m. (students only)
  • Dec. 18 - Early Release – 1 p.m.; End of First Semester/Winter Break begins at end of day
  • Jan. 4 - No School – Teacher Institute Day
  • Jan. 5 - Classes resume following Winter Break
  • Jan. 18 - No School – Martin Luther King’s Birthday (observed)
  • Jan. 26 - School Improvement Day (classes release at 11:15 a.m.)
  • Feb. 12 - Early Release – 1 p.m.
  • Feb. 15 - No School – Presidents Day
  • March 23 - School Improvement Day (classes release at 11:15 a.m.)
  • March 26 - No School
  • April 2 - Early Release – 1 p.m./Spring Break begins at end of day
  • April 12 - Classes resume following Spring Break
  • April 22 - Tentative - Student Testing (no senior attendance; classes release at TBA)
  • April 26 - No School – Teacher Institute Day
  • May 13 - Last Day of Attendance (seniors)
  • May 14 - Graduation
  • May 20 - Early Release – 1 p.m. (students only)
  • May 21 - Early Release – 1 p.m.; Tentative Last Day of School (freshmen, sophomores, juniors)
