Lemont High School Set For 36th Annual Bands Dinner Dance

Event proceeds will benefit the award-winning Lemont High School band and color guard programs.

LEMONT, IL — The 36th Annual Lemont Bands Dinner Dance, featuring the music of the school’s jazz band, will be held at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club on March 7, LHS shared in a news release. Event proceeds will benefit the award-winning Lemont High School band and color guard programs.

The school said the event is open to the community and will not only include the jazz band, but guest vocalists, a special dance performance from the color guard, and professional musicians.

The Annual Lemont Bands Dinner Dance will run from 6-11:30 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. The Lemont High School Alumni Hall of Fame induction is scheduled to take place at 8 p.m., and the jazz band will play from 8:30-11:30 p.m.

Moreno’s Mexican Restaurant and Salsa Bar will provide complimentary appetizers during the cocktail hour, and Folklore Coffee will offer a hot chocolate bar and coffee selections later in the evening, the school shared.

The event also will include raffles for cash and prizes, with winners announced later in the evening, the school said. A “Grand Prize Raffle,” wine pull, bourbon pull, and duck pull all will be part of this year’s festivities, as will an online silent auction that will give both attendees and non-attendees alike the opportunity to support the band.

Ruffled Feathers is located at 1 Pete Dye Drive in Lemont.

Reservations for the Annual Lemont Bands Dinner Dance are $75 per person (ages 13 and older), and include dinner, dancing, and a cash bar. Children ages 2-12 are $45 each.

Admission is $10 for adults who wish to attend only the dancing and raffle portion of the event; those individuals may not enter until 8 p.m. Lemont High School students with a valid student ID will be admitted to the dancing and raffle portion of the evening for $5.

The deadline for dinner reservations is Feb. 22. No RSVP is required to attend the dancing and raffle portion of the evening.
