Lemont Historical Society Holds Free Research Day
The society has access to maps, family history files, census, yearbooks, newspapers and more to help in your family research.
LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Area Historical Society will host a free research day on June 9 to help residents find out Lemont family history or information. According to the society, the event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
You can head out to the historical society and access the library's resources free of charge. The society said there will also be volunteers on hand to help you with your questions. The society has access to maps, family history files, census, yearbooks, newspapers, Lemont home registry, school attendance records and more.
