Lemont Holds Public Meeting For Signage Plan
The public meeting will be held Monday, July 17.

LEMONT, IL — The village of Lemont will host a meeting to gain public input on the master signage plan for the village. According to a release, the meeting will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Monday, July 17 at village hall.
According to the release, sign types in the master plan include Village gateways, wayfinding, parking, informational, points of interest markers and information kiosks. The village's goal, according to the release, is to provide residents and visitors clear direction to commercial areas, points of interest, recreational amenities, and indicate Village gateways.
The village has engaged Hitchcock Design Group to lead a three-phase signage design process, according to the release. The project team is currently in the middle of Phase 2: Schematic Design. The Village would now like to invite community input as a basis for refining the preferred family of signage types and to identify priority locations.
