Lemont Holds Zoom Town Hall For Small Business Support
Mayor John Egofske, trustees and business leaders will discuss the payroll protection program and other programs to help small businesses.

LEMONT, IL — The village of Lemont will hold a Zoom town hall to discuss the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act and other resources for small businesses. The town hall will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday and you can register online.
The village said Mayor John Egofske, trustees, business leaders and village staff will discuss the payroll protection program and other programs to help small businesses. There will also be other business leaders on the call, including:
- Lori Ritzert, VP of Small Business Banking for Bank of Hinsdale to provide an overview of Wintrust's payroll protection program process and answer questions
- Kevin Lynch from the Small Business Development Center at Joliet Junior College
- Lemont resident and Managing Director for a commercial real estate investment group, Jason Schiffman, to discuss his experience with payroll protection program and conversations happening now between landlords and tenants
- Staff from the Village and Heritage Corridor Business Alliance
The call will allow business owners to ask questions and share their experiences and resources with other Lemont business owners.
