LEMONT, IL —The Lemont Hornets 10U Gold team took home a Super Bowl win after defeating the Tri-City Chargers 19-6 in the Bill George Youth Football League championship game. The Super Bowl was held on Sunday at Benedictine University. With this win, the Hornets completed their undefeated season 203-18. The 10u Gold team is coached by Dan Luciano with assistant coaches Jimmy Campion, Mike Rusnak, Dan Dougherty, Ron Siwek, Bryan Tunis and Steve Schmeltzer. The team roster includes: Michael Rusnak, Andrew Schmeltzer, Bryce Siwek, Vinn Tunis , Max Walczak, Andy Perakis, Anthony Deliberto III, Brady Piont, Chris Baranowski, Danny Luciano III, Dominic Maciulis, Jack Betley, Joey Tomala, Kayden Grove, Lucas Salazar, Nathan Kaminski, Noah Gotlund and Russell Duerr.
